How to obtain repeat prescriptions

We have a repeat prescription service. If the doctor has issued you with a repeat counterfoil please use it to request your repeat medication. Bring your repeat prescription counterfoil with you each time you visit the doctor. All you need to do is hand it in or post it to the surgery with a note stating which items you require. It will be ready for collection in 2 working days. If you enclose a stamped addressed envelope we will post it back to you as soon as it is ready, but make sure you allow for postal delays.

Sometimes it is possible to have a repeat of medication you have had before without having a counterfoil. In this case please write your request very clearly on a piece of paper stating your full name and address and the name of the medication and hand it in at reception. Again please allow 2 working days for this to be prepared and signed.
